Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Deputy General Manager – Manufacturing (API) role based in Ankleshwer, Gujarat, with a leading pharmaceutical organization. This is a critical leadership position focused on peptide API manufacturing and plant operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Lead solid-phase & liquid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS/LPPS) including advanced technologies
Drive process development, scale-up, and technology transfer for peptide APIs
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing (Synthesis, Cleavage, Purification, Lyophilization)
Ensure cGMP, USFDA & global regulatory compliance
Review and approve BMR, deviations, CAPA, and change controls
Lead audit readiness and regulatory inspections
Coordinate with QA, QC, R&D, and Engineering for process improvements
Manage equipment qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) and plant reliability
Ensure strong EHS, GMP, and quality culture
🔹 Role Focus:
Technical leadership in peptide API manufacturing
Driving operational excellence and compliance
Managing cross-functional teams and plant performance
